Just realised that i have been ranting on and on about how the office was super unpleasant. Haven't said ANYTHING about the new office. LOL.

It's like, Hotel 81 compared to Shangri-La.

The carpets are NEW and CLEAN.
The cubicle walls are BRIGHT AND GREEN.
Though the air still smells like paint and glue, nonetheless, it's fresh air from the newly installed air-cons.

The whole office has seemed to open up also, because they lowered the cubicle dividers, so that when you sit down you cannot see the surrounding, but when you stand up you can see your neighbour.

The lights seem somewhat brighter too, and we get a new huge-assed big cupboard to keep all our junk.

But somehow, alot of us don't seem to have dustbins.

Omfg, 3 more weeks, 20 odd fucking days till the end of another chapter in my life, and the lives of a good number of my friends.

It's also the beginning of another, hitting TWENty, f-army, universities, work, fuck-load of responsibilities, family, friends.

Well, with all the free time i'll be getting (i have no idea how long it's going to last though) i doubt that'll be anything but hard to arrange. :]

It's only been the first day of FYP. And i'm fucking hating it. Not that i have much to complain about, but the mundane chores that we are assigned with and the fact that we have to stuck with that for 12 weeks seem like a very harrowing and depressing thought for me. Falling asleep on 2 occassions doing my research while waiting for the slowassed computer. Wtf.

I just hate my life, hate my course. I so should have stuck to bioengineering at RP, but it's all too late now.

Meh.

Tennis was kinda a bad mistake, playing after FYP helped me de-stress abit but it made me super tired and i just died right after dinner.
I woke up at around 1.45am and can't get back to sleep. I guess FYP made me realise that i would NEVER want my life to be like that in the future. Just made me hate engineering more.

I guess the thing that bothers me the most is the constant thought of the deadline always looming and rearing it's ugly head at you. The super fucking i have no idea why so long hours aren't excatly helping also. (8.30am to 6.00pm EVERYDAY fucks up your life in ways you can't ven imagine). To make matters even better, we can't even facebook or msn. Like, wtf? It's not as if we're going to facebook or msn the whole day. The very thought of our freedom being snatched away like that just saddens and depresses and stresses me to the point where i can't be even bothered to type in a fun to read manner, i just had to rant to someone, anyone, even if this blog is long dead.

Oh, a final note, the class chalet sure LOOKED fun. Too bad i didn't go.

Defensive Baseliner

A defensive baseliner, or counter-puncher or retriever, returns every ball and relies on the opponent making mistakes. He/She has consistent shots, makes few errors of his own while making it difficult for opponents to hit winners. The game of the defensive counter-puncher has more to do with physical endurance and determination to retrieve un-retrievable balls as well as mental stamina.
